Custom and personalised orders

 

Unfortunately custom orders are not possible. The collars are made from the inspiration and colours available to the artist.

 

Sizing details

 

Each collar may be slightly different in size from another. We will gladly send you more pictures and precise measurements if requested. 

Measuring your Dog

To ensure proper fit, we recommend measuring your pet’s neck and ordering accordingly. For more information, please click here to see Bo Collars Dog Size Guide.

Measuring:
 

A. Carefully wrap a piece measuring tape around your dog’s neck and note the point where the tape fits comfortably. You want it to be a good fit, not too loose and not too tight. Please note all sizes are in Inches. 

B. Lay your pet’s current collar out (adjusted for correct fit) and lay the measuring tape next to your pet’s collar. You'll want to measure from the very end of the clasp to the beginning of the prongs. Do not include prongs in your final measurements.

 

Can you add additional holes to a collar?

 

If requested we can add additional holes to accommodate smaller sizes on some collars just ask us prior to or upon placing your order.

Every Bo Collar is made with high-quality leather and stainless steel hardware. Leather is regarded as the best choice for a dog collar because if maintained, it will last for a lifetime. A quality leather treatment, ideally made from natural fats and oils applied twice a year, will allow your leather collar to last for many years to come. These unique, durable and colourful collars are handmade in Mexico. Our colourful hand-woven patterns are created with nylon to ensure durability and longevity of the collar. Additionally, being handmade, no two collars are ever alike—providing a truly one of a kind look, for your one of a kind pet.

 

Warranty

 

Each Bo Collar product is individually handcrafted high-quality top grain leather. In this way, subtle variances may occur from piece to piece, which we like to think gives each collar its own unique character. Naturally, despite our best efforts, our items are not "chew-proof" or "scratch-proof". This site and the materials and products on this site are provided "as-is" and without warranties of any kind, whether express or implied. The lifetime of a Bo Collar piece is determined by your care, the wear of your dog, and the elements it is exposed to. Hardware tarnishing, fading, and fraying are all normal "wear and tear," thus, we will not replace after the '30 days within purchase' time frame.

 

Warranty Information Continued

Though our collars have been tested by our dogs in water and rain (and the leather/nylon holds up nicely, in our opinion) it should be noted that this may result in tarnishing/fading and decrease the longevity of the collar in general. Some may choose to avoid water exposure completely. Leather and/or Nylon may damage due to chewing, or any other action that compromises the material beyond regular wear is not a manufacturer's defect. Broken items that are a result of manufacturer's defect, such as hardware failure, unraveling of nylon or leather damage, will be replaced by Bo Collars within 6 months of purchase. Products showing excessive exposure to water or abrasive surfaces are NOT covered.

If your dog is an excessive puller, please consider a harness or simply use the collar as an accessory.

Bo Collar is not a training collar or a walk assist collar. It should be used as an accessory collar for peace of mind.
